What is music therapy?
Music therapy is an evidence-based allied health practice that uses music to help people work toward real-life goals. A Registered Music Therapist gets to know you, your needs and the music you connect with, then shapes each session around you. That might involve playing instruments, singing, songwriting, moving to music or listening together. You don't need any musical experience to take part.
Because music engages the brain, body and emotions at the same time, it can support communication, confidence, emotional regulation, movement and connection, all at once. It's backed by a substantial body of research and always tailored to your goals.
