Our music therapy studio
A creative, welcoming space for music therapy, groups, recording and connection.

Our studio is designed to feel warm, playful and practical. It is a place where children, teenagers and adults can explore music, build confidence, express themselves and work towards their goals in a way that feels meaningful and achievable.

A space made for music therapy
Play Anything Music Therapy is set up with a range of therapy rooms, instruments, music technology and creative spaces so each person can participate in a way that suits their interests, skills and access needs.

Some people come to play, sing and move. Some come to write songs, record music or explore technology. Some come to connect, regulate, communicate or build confidence through shared musical experiences.
No musical experience is needed. Our therapists adapt each session to the person.

Group space
Our larger group space is used for group programs, workshops, choirs, intensives and community events.

This space allows participants to make music together, build social connection, share ideas and take part in creative group experiences.

Recording and music technology
Our studio includes recording equipment, microphones, iPads, MIDI keyboards, electronic instruments and accessible music technology.
These tools can support songwriting, beat-making, recording, communication, choice-making and creative expression. They also help make music-making more accessible for people who may not connect with traditional instruments.

Instruments and equipment
Our studio includes a wide range of acoustic, electronic and adapted instruments. This may include guitars, keyboards, percussion, drums, microphones, iPads, MIDI controllers, recording tools and other creative music-making equipment.
Having lots of options means we can find the right starting point for each person. Some people love drums. Some prefer piano. Some enjoy singing. Some connect best through technology, visuals, movement or sound exploration.
The goal is not to perform perfectly. The goal is to participate, connect and make music in a way that feels possible.
What to expect when you visit
When you arrive, your therapist will meet you and help you settle in. Sessions are flexible and adapted to the person’s communication style, sensory preferences, interests and goals.

Parents, carers or support workers may be involved depending on the person’s needs and the purpose of the session.

You do not need to bring an instrument unless your therapist has asked you to. Everything needed for the session is provided.
Planning your visit
Parking is available on site, and there is a bus stop nearby. We also have a waiting area with tea and coffee facilities.

If you have access needs or would like to talk through what to expect before your first visit, please contact us. We are happy to discuss how we can make your visit as comfortable and supportive as possible.
